Henry at the Zoo

Today we went to Taipei zoo. It cost us NT$30 to get in. I will tell you what I saw in the zoo. First, I saw the flamingoes which were sleeping. Only two were not sleeping, but they were drinking water. When they sleep they stand on one foot, so I think their balancing is great. And we went to see the monkeys. I saw a baby monkey. The monkeys were playing in the water, but I wanted a monkey to jump in the water.

Today we went to Taipei City Zoo. First, we went to see the flamingoes. The flamingoes are so strong they can balancing on one leg. Next, we went to see the male deer, which had a disgusting smell. Then we went to see the otters which were so cute. After that, we went to the insectarium which had lots of butterflies and beetles. Then we came home on the MRT. On the MRT there was an old lady who told us we were too loud, but Teacher Andrew said we were not so loud, so the mad old lady went back to her seat.

Today we went to the Taipei zoo. Outside the zoo there were a lot of people selling umbrellas, toys and fans. There were flamingoes which were so strong they can use just one leg to stand on a rock. Then we went into a tunnel showing the animals that were in danger of extinction. When we finished in there, we saw a sign about insects, so we went inside the insectarium, where there was a giant beetle. When we were done, we went to the MRT. There was an old grandma that said, “Teacher!”. Today was a really fun day.

Harry Goes To A Coal Museum

Yesterday we went to Pingsi. We first went to the Coal Museum. Inside the coal museum there were the coal miners’ tools. Then we went to eat lunch. Next we went on the train to Pingsi Old Street. On Pingsi Old Street, there was a sausage store, a grocery store and an egg-shaped ice-cream store. The sausages were very good, but they were very expensive, as one cost NT$30.

Yesterday, I went to the coal museum. It was really fun. Outside the museum, there was a train, shops and a lot of things, so a lot people bought ice-cream there. Then we went inside the museum. It had 30 worker model collecting coal, that looked real! At last everybody went on a train and went home.

Hi! My name is Harry. I am in the New Yellow Team of Chuck’s Summer Blog Camp. On Monday I went to The Center for Traditional Arts in Ilan. I really enjoyed The Top Shop. Inside, the shop had a DIY section to paint the tops, which cost NT$100. I thought to paint the tops was too expensive, so we went out. Outside the top shop, you could try to spin the tops. So Teacher Andrew tried the top and it worked. At the same time, a reporter walked by and he saw Teacher Andrew and interviewed him with a video camera. Then we went back to Chuck.

Hi! My name is Lewes. I’m in the New Yellow Team of Chuck’s Summer Blog Camp. On Monday morning, I went to the Clogs Museum in Ilan. We left Neihu at 9:30 and the bus trip was O.K., because there was air-conditioning. We arrived at the Clogs Museum at 10:45. In the museum,there were big clogs and small clogs. I thought it was very boring. Outside,we could blow big bubbles, but none stayed airborne really long. Afterwards, we went to “The Center For Traditional Arts”, where we arrived at 12:30. We went to eat lunch once we got in, and after lunch, we could walk around. There were a lot of shops, but the best thing that happened was when Liam was feeding the fish. A fish jumped out and scared him, so he fell into the water! At 3:00, we had to go back to Chuck. It was a great day.

Hi! My name is Liam and I am in the New Yellow Team of Chuck’s Summer Blog Camp. On Monday, I went to Ilan. I really enjoyed the bus ride. After lunch, we went to The Center for Traditional Arts. There were many shops, but the best one was the Spinning Top Shop. Outside, we tried to spin the tops, but it was very difficult, but I did half of it. I also fed the fish. I enjoyed it, but when I was feeding the fish a fish jumped and it scared me into the water. Except for that, I thought it was a very good day.

I took a trip to the Taipei City Hall. We rode the MRT to Taipei City Hall. When we got there I saw many things on the fourth floor. Then we used the elevator to go to ghe third floor.
I saw alot of history on the third floor. But we only see a little bit because my teacher took us out to eat . After I ate my lunch , I talked with my friends. Then my teacher told our camp to go back . So I had to put my lunch in my bag and go home.

We went to the Ceramics Museum. I made a cat candle holder. I made its tail into a rocket. when we finished my hands were dirty. Than we ate lunch.

We went to our first stop, the Ceramics Museum. Everybody made clay crafts. So I made a clay craft called "Talking Cups". It's ugly, but I had fun. Teacher Mike told us to goto the next stop.
Next, we went to the park to eat lunch. When I finished my lunch, I saw Jimmy looking for something. Then my teacher gave everybody five papers to draw something. When I finished all five colors, my friend told me to play games. Then we went to our last stop.
Last, we went to the last stop YingGe Lao Jie. I saw many things. I talked about Harry Potter too. I saw someone buy things. Finally, we got on the bus to come home.

Yesterday we went to San Zhi. I saw some things like a drum and I saw some other old things and an old house, too.

Next, I went to the Sea Shell Temple. When we finished our lunch, I went into a tunnel. It was so good. We could make a wish inside. I could see pictures, too.

Next, we went to the windmills. I saw six windmills. It looked like it would hit me, but when it is turning it makes electricity. I saw many flowers. They were all different colors.

Last we went to a place with a fountain and a bridge. When the bridge was moving, it was like an earthquake.

Our first stop was the Puppet Museum. We saw many puppets in the museum and music. We also saw a puppet monkey playing tricks. I saw many puppet heads too. Then, teacher told us to go to next stop.
We went to the Sea Shell Temple to see shells. When we got there, my teacher told us to stay there to eat. I finished my lunch quickly because I wanted to go into the hole. I went into the hole, in and out three times. I went into an office and saw a puffer fish.
Then, we went to the windmills. There were many windmills on the hills. I also saw a house that was a electricity center. I saw an electricity meter, too. Then we went to our last stop.
Our last stop was the fountain and bridge. We saw three fountains and a bridge. My teacher told us about how the fountains could make electricity. Then we went on the bridge for a walk. When I got on the bus, I wished I could stay there to walk around.

We went to the puppet museum. It was very cool. There were many puppets and you could see who had made puppet. His name was Li Tian Lu. Thewe was in formation about the different kind of puppets. It was good.

Next we went to the Sea Shell Temple. It was cool. It was 50%made from shells. There were many people praying. There were many ocean things in the temple. It was big.

Next we went to see windmills. There was a strong wind. There were saveral windmills. We saw an electricity meter. It was very pretty. It was a good place to go.

Last we went to a fountain and bridge . It was raining. The bridge was scary. We walked over the birdge was shaking. After we walked back, we went back home.

Candy goes to Taipei Zoo

Today my friends and I went to Taipei Zoo by MRT. The MRT was very big, because many people need to use it. When we finally got there, it was already ten o'clock, so we quicky went inside. We went to see the Nocturnal House first. All the nocturnal animals wake up at night, so when we're taking pictures of nocturnal animals are very dark. We went to Asia Rain Forest next. The crocodile is very big, but it's sleeping, so I was not scared of it. The elephant was enormous. It cover most of the space. After seeing the elephant we went to see the panda. The panda was very cute, but it was always sleeping. After looking at the panda we went back to school.

We took the MRT to the zoo today. It was very cool because there were many trees. We went to the Nocturnal House and the Asian Rain Forest. I took the MRT to the Taipei Zoo today. We sat on one car and the blue and black team sat on another car. My teacher's son waved at us and I had to wave back. When I got to the zoo I saw flamingos. They were very cute. After we went and saw nocturnal animals. We couldn't use a flash to take pictures in there because the nocturnal animals don't like light. I also saw a crocodile today. It was my first time to see the crocodile.

We went to Beitou Hot spring. It is very cool because we needed to take off our shoes to go in. We saw special Hot springs and Learned why Taiwan has those special Hot springs. The building was made in a Japanese style. There was a short movie. It was good.

We went to Thermal Valley. Next, it was very hot because hot air came out of the ground. There was a hot spring pond. We saw what Beitou rock is. I liked it.

Later, we went to Yang Ming Park. It was sunny. We ate lunch there. We ate a burrito and a purple sweet potato. After we finished lunch, we saw colorful trees and a pond with ducks, a turtle and many fish. I think it is a good place.

Finally, we went to Da Tun Nature Area. It was so pretty. There were many people taking wedding pictures. There was a little lake there. We took a hike. It was a happy day!

We went to BeiTou and Yangming Shan. The weather was hot. We went to Bei Tou hot spring. It was very exciting. The Thermal Valley water is 90℃. There was cold and hot water. After the uncle took everyone to Yangming Shan Park, we ate lunch. I didn’t eat. I ate sweet potato instead. It was yummy. There was a cute flower clock there. Inside there was a pond, duck, and turtle. They were so cute. We saw pictures. There was a little lake and an ant in there. I hiked far and my legs hurt.

Yesterday,we went to Beitou and Yangming Shan to play.First,we went to Beitou Hot Spring Museum.We saw many Japanese things except the shoes,and we saw some short movies.After we finished watching movies we went outside.It was very hot,so we bought some ice cream to eat.
Next,we went to Thermal Valley.There is a hot river.One thing that amazed me is one side of river's water was very hot.It was about 90c,but the other side was very cold.It also has a waterfall on it.
Then,we went to Yangming Park to eat lunch.We saw a flower clock.After we finished lunch,we went to take a walk.We saw a pond,and a duck was standing on the rock.I realized the duck was not afraid of people.When I stood close to the duck,it didn't run away.
Finally,we went to Datun nature area.We saw many people taking wedding pictures when we were hiking.After hiking,we wentto buy some drinks,and went back to school.

Yesterday,I went to Neiwan Lao Jie to play. First,we went to eat some AiYu.It has water,AiYu and some lemon in it.It was very dilicious.Itwas a little bit sweet and sour at the same time.
After eating AiYu,we went to take a walk on the street.There were many different stores.We took alot of pictures on the street,and we also walked on an enormous bridge.It was fun,because the bridge could move.When we returned to school,many people felt ill,and throw up on the school bus.

Jiou Fen is just outside Taipei .You can take a bus or you can drive with your family. Many people go there because thereare so many shops on the old street . It's so cool . Many foreigners go there to visit .

There was very beautiful candies and cookies . So cool and delicious . It made me want to eat . I didn't buy anything ,but my mouth drooled . I had just eaten lunch an hour before .

I like a nice cell phone strap , but it was too expensive for me .

Today I went to Wulai with my class. We saw a waterfall. The waterfall was very pretty. The waterfall was big. The waterfall was white. I think the big pretty waterfall has clean water.

Next, Teacher Mike took us to the river and he taught us how to skip rocks. There were many rocks, and many kinds of rocks, too. The rocks were clorful. Jasmine and I were playing with water. It was fun.

Another fun thing we did was when Teacher Mike took us to the train station. We saw a train that was green. It was little and we rode the number two train. When we passed an old lady's house we saw a little squirrel. It was cute. What a fun trip!

Emmy's Trip To Wuli

On,Wednesday July,29.My firend Sandra, my teacher,teacher Mike and I went to Wuli. It was a good day to visit Wuli.

When I got there, I saw one old and fat dog walk toward Sandra. This dog liked to smell Sandra very much . I don't know why, but I think this dog thought Sandra was a dog. Then the dog hugged Sandra very hard. Sandra yelled and screemed then she fell down. I think this dog is crazy. Next I rode the little train down the mountain. When I rode on the train it moved very slowly, but there was some wind. I thought it was very fun, because I hadn't ridden on a little trian the first time I came to Wuli. When I got down mountain. I walked near the river. Teacher Mike taught us how to skip rocks. He told me needed to find round and thin rocks again and again. It's so hard!

I love Wuli very much. I had fun there!

I went to Wulai on Wednesday, July 29 with my class. It is famous for its big waterfall. The waterfall was very pretty. I think it has many fish. The waterfall is very big. The falls has a lot of water. I love the big pretty waterfall.

We also got to ride on a train. Riding the train was very fun, because the small train is fast. We saw an old lady's house who had a squirrel. The train was a windy ride, too. I thought the squirrel was cute.

Finally, another funny thing happened. When we were eating snacks, a dog came over. He hugged Sandra. Sandra shooed him away and he chased me because I have a rabbit. Sandra said he wanted to chase a rabbit.

I had fun in Wulai. Everyone should go there.

In Tamshui there are many things I don't see in Taipei. We saw a very small turtle and a pig . I saw someone using wood to make things. To tavel to Tamshui Lao Jie from Fisherman's Wharf you need to buy a 50NT boat ticket. Children pay 25NT. I think it is fun in Tamshui :Lao Jie.

Do you want to know where Tamshui is? Tamshui is a place near Taipei. There are lots of ways to get to Tamshui. You can ride the MRT, boat,and city bus. It's cheaper than going to other places. Taipei to Tamshui is about one and a half hours. In Tamshui the famous places are Fisherman's Wharf and Tamshui Lau Jie. They are good places to travel.

Fisherman's Wharf has lots of special things that Taipei city doesn't have. We saw the white bridge named Lover's Bridge. There were many fishing boats and the blue sea. Also there were many good things to eat and play. There were fishermen fishing. Fisherman's Wharf is a good place to go.
